We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible Word of God.
(II Timothy 3:16)
We believe there is one God, Creator of all things, who is perfect and eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (I John 5:4-6)
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, and in His atoning death through His shed blood. We believe in His bodily resurrection and in His ascension to glory. (I Corinth. 15:3; I peter 2:21-24; John 3:16)
We believe the present supernatural ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. During this time the Holy Spirit indwells, guides, instructs and empowers the believer for Godly living and service. We feel all believers should be filled with the Holy Spirit, with speaking in tongues as the initial physical evidence, and by subsequent manifestation of spiritual power in testimony and service. We believe the in filling of the Holy Spirit is a benefit and not a requirement that is offered to whosoever will believe. (Acts 10:44-46: Acts 19:2 &6: Acts 1:8; Acts 2:42,43; Matthew 3:11)
We believe the Lord's Supper is an ordinance that is to be observed by the church. Communion is not to be taken lightly, but should be a time of reverence before God. It is a time for us to prepare our hearts in order to receive from Him and His Word by the power of the Holy Spirit. However, the Lord's Supper is not to be regarded as a means of salvation. (I Corinth. 11:23-33)
We believe in baptism by Immersion in the name of Jesus Christ. (Mark 1:9-13; Acts 10:48)
We believe in the five-fold ministry given to the church at the ascension of Jesus Christ and that they continue to be needed and should be expected in the church of today. Those five ministries being: apostles, prophets, evangelist, pastors, and teachers. Serving in those capacities, the called men and women of the church. (Ephesians 4:11-16)
We believe in the eminent return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Chirst! (I Thess. 4:13-18; John 14:3)
